Best Of Rock ?????
Driving down the German Autobahn on a very windy and rainy day on my way to a ‘house concert’ near Köln.
What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon then driving and listening to new records… Ron Sexsmith, Teitur, The Boy Who Trapped The Sun, Jeff Finlin, Christian Kjellvander, The Mummers,…. etc etc
In a Autobahn ‘Autohof’ restaurant/cafe thing right now.
A ‘Cafe Creme’ (that’s just black coffee, really) costs 3.45 euro at the Segafredo bar next to the Burger King and Nordsee fish restaurant.
That’s insane!
3.45 euro for a cup of coffee? Is this Paris?

‘Best Of’ …Pop, Rock, Country & Classic. For 9.99 euro.
Believe it or not, we’re on the ‘Best Of Rock’ with ‘Are You Inventive’ (that’d be from my old band ‘The Jeremy Days’) from 1988!!
How’d we get on this CD? ‘Best Of Rock’ ????
I mean, Soundgarden is on the same CD! Jeeeezzzzz!
And so I head out back to the car. No coffee for Dirk. Not for 3.45!
